WebApr 30, 2016 · Check the fan solenoid first. Probably not the problem but much cheaper fix if it is. Turn the key to the on position and then check for air leakage near the fan. You won't hear it leaking with the engine running and it won't leak with the key off. At least, that's how it went with mine.
