Slow-cycling cell

Webb研究成果の概要(英文):To identify the location of the sensory epithelial stem cells in the inner ear, we try to find the slow-cycling cells that can be considered as candidates of stem cells. As a result, we found many slow-cycling cells in tympanic border cells. WebbThe cell cycle is a cycle, rather than a linear pathway, because at the end of each go-round, the two daughter cells can start the exact same process over again from the beginning. In eukaryotic cells, or cells with a nucleus, the stages of the cell cycle are divided into two major phases: interphase and the mitotic (M) phase.
